The annual Africa Fashion Show Geneva (AFSG) returns this weekend on the 28th May, showcasing diverse talent from the continent.
As African-inspired fashion continues to find its way onto the runways of New York, Paris and London, Geneva’s dedicated fashion show celebrates the vibrant range of colour, intricate patterns, and artisanal workmanship unique to the regions designs.
The show features up and coming, established and renowned designers from across the African continent.
Organised by by Crucible Events, the fourth edition aims to continue to tell a different story about Africa to the global community.
Organises hope to promote African fashion by positioning the fashion and garment industry as a key prospect for driving socio-economic development in African countries.
“We believe the creative industries in Africa at larger offer incredible potential for job creation and GDP growth,” say organisers.
